Summer, summer!

A few days ago, on June 20th, there was the summer solstice (przesilenie letnie) - the time when the day is the longest of all the days in the year and the night is the shortest one.

With it came the summer - for some people the best season (because of the temperature and the sunshine) and the best part of the year (because of holidays :)).





And, speaking of holidays...

What are your plans for these summer holidays?

And, what words and phrases do you associate with summer?

Here we go:

places: beach, lake, sea, mountains, garden, swimming pool, summer cottage, museum, cafe

activities: going for a trip, swimming, collecting shells and stones, walking, playing badminton, football and beach volleyball, bike riding, visiting one's family

favourite summer foodand drink: ice cream, strawberries, lemonade
